Blue Blood

There is no pitiful justification I hate more in sports than the concept of a "moral victory."  The notion is assanine and should be reserved for those occasions where no one keeps score!  It's like playing No Limit Hold 'Em with no buy in!  Unfortunately, last year (2008), UK basketball had more moral victories than ACTUAL ones and that was like being kicked in the shins every game for a Blue Bleeder!  What a difference a year makes here at the good ol' U of K.  We finally received some love in the AP when we cracked the Top 25 for the first time since Tubby left.  That's 40 years in the desert type catastrophy for Big Blue Nation.  One year under Billy G. and some incredible play from Meeks and Patterson, supported by Stevenson and anyone else who cares to put forth a little effort!

Number 8 is just around the corner!!
